Driven by heart-swelling synth sounds, sonically, it’s an upper of a record, every bit as buoyant as either Manners or Gossamer. It’s these subtle glimpses of sadness that give Kindred depth, lending a deeply human, bittersweet beauty to those euphoric melodies.
