In fact, the story goes that Travis was so blown-away by their demo, he ordered his A&R man to meet them in their native Minneapolis and seal the deal on the spot: no pressure, eh boys?! Fortunately, far from buckling under the weight of expectation, the five-piece have delivered an impressively carefree debut, which fuses energetic surf-rock and sun-drenched 60s pop with a whole lot of verve and panache.
